fine recovered, the remaining one-half shall be paid to the
State Game Warden or to the State Comptroller to be placed
to the credit of the State Game Protection Fund to be used
as provided by law.
If any clause, sentence, paragraph or section of this Act
shall for any reason be adjudged by a Court of competent
jurisdiction to be unconstitutional and invalid, such judgment
shall not affect, impair or invalidate the remainder thereof,
but shall be confined in its operation to the clause, sentence,
paragraph, or section thereof, so found unconstitutional and
invalid.
SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That all laws both local and
general inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, are hereby
repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
SEC. 3. Be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1st, 1929.

CHAPTER 421.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
10 of Article 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, Edi-
tion of 1924, title "Bills of Exchange and Promissory
Notes, " sub-title "Legal Holidays. "
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 10 of Article 13 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, Edition of 1924, title "Bills of Exchange
and Promissory Notes, " sub-title "Legal Holidays, " be, and
the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
so as to read as follows:
10. Whenever the 1st day of January, the 22nd day of
February, the 30th day of May, the 4th day of July, the 12th
day of September, the 12th day of October, the 11th day of
November, or the 25th day of December shall either of them
occur on Sunday, the Monday next following shall be deemed
and treated as a public holiday for all or any of the purposes
aforesaid; provided, however, that in such case all bills of
