SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts, or parts of
Acts, inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, be and the
same are hereby repealed in so far as they relate to or concern
Dorchester County.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on the first day of June, 1929.

CHAPTER 420.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 62
of Article 99 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title
"Water Fowl, Birds and Game," sub-title "Otter, Muskrat,
Raccoon and Opossum" as said Article was enacted by
Chapter 568 of the Acts of 1927.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 62 of Article 99 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, title "Water Fowl, Birds and Game," sub-
title "Otter, Muskrat, Raccoon and Opossum" as said Article
was enacted by Chapter 568, Acts of 1927, be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments to read as follows:
62. It shall be unlawful for any person to hunt any
Muskrat within the State of Maryland, or have the meat or
pelts in possession if trapped, caught or killed, between the
fifteenth day of March and the first day of January follow-
ing in each and every year, both dates exclusive, whether
same are trapped, caught or killed within the State of Mary-
land, or any other State, territory or country; provided, how-
ever, nothing herein contained shall prohibit the possession
of the skins of such animals for business purposes, when dried
and cured; provided, that any person may have in possession
green skins until the twenty-fifth day of March, following
the close of each season, in order to allow skins caught late
in the season to become cured for market. It shall be unlaw-
ful to pursue or kill any Otter in this State at any time.
(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to shoot, or shoot at,
or gig, or in any manner kill or catch, except by trapping,
any muskrat, and it shall be unlawful for any person to dig
