shall be rated at the next higher rate. All vehicles requiring
registration under this class shall be plainly stamped with
weight of chassis, manufacturer's body allowance, and rated
capacity, and no such vehicle shall be registered for carrying
capacity in excess of that so stamped upon it, but the Com-
missioner of Motor Vehicles shall not be bound to accept such
stamped weights or rated carrying capacity as correct. Noth-
ing in this sub-title shall be construed to repeal or amend the
existing law prescribing the fees to be paid by motor vehicles
used in the regular transportation of passengers or freight on
fixed schedules.
Class C. Five ($5. 00) dollars per annum for each motor-
cycle. Three ($3. 00) dollars per annum for each bicycle with
motor attachment.
Class D. Twenty-five dollars ($25. 00) for the first two
sets of tags or markers issued each manufacturer, dealer or
distributor in motor vehicles other than motorcycles regis-
tered under the provisions of Section 179A of this Article
and $3. 00 for each additional set of tags issued each such
manufacturer, dealer or distributor. Such registration tags
shall be interchangeable among the cars owned or used by such
manufacturer or dealer during the current year in which
issued.
Class E. Twenty ($20. 00) dollars per annum for each
four registration tags issued a dealer in motorcycles and five
($5. 00) dollars for each additional tag issued such dealer,
such tags to be interchangeable as in case of dealers in other
motor vehicles.
Class F. Thirty-two cents (32c. ) per horse power or frac-
tion thereof in the case of all motor vehicles operating for
the purpose of transporting persons for hire upon any of the
public highways of this State other than motor vehicles op-
erating on fixed schedules, the registration fees of which are
fixed by other specific provisions of law, and provided that
said charge shall be in lieu of all other taxes, fees or charges
of every kind upon said motor vehicles or upon the receipts
of those operating the same except the taxes imposed upon
the same as personal property.
Class G. Ten dollars ($10. 00) for each rubber tired vehi-
cle with a carrying capacity of one ton or less, trailed or
propelled by any motor vehicle on which a license is required
