CHAPTER 391.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
121C of Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Dorchester County, " sub-title "County
Commissioners, County Treasurer and Collectors, " as said
section was enacted by Chapter 728 of the Acts of 1920,
relating to and regulating the salary of the Treasurer of
Dorchester County, Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That Section 121C of Article 10 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Dorchester County, "
sub-title "County Commissioners, County Treasurer and Col-
lectors, " as said section was enacted by Chapter 728 of the
Acts of 1920, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments, to read as follows:

121C. The Treasurer shall receive, as compensation for his
services as Treasurer and Collector of Dorchester County an
annual salary of twenty-seven hundred ($2, 700. 00) dollars,
which shall be paid in equal monthly installments. And the
said salary shall be his sole compensation, and all fees of every
kind and description arising from the sale of property for taxes
or from any other sources shall not be retained by the Treas-
urer, but shall be paid by him to the County Commissioners
and a separate account kept thereof, and the aggregate amount
of such fees shall be included in the annual budget of the said
Commissioners as an asset of the county.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1929.

CHAPTER 392.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the municipal corporation,
the Commissioners of Thurmont, to acquire real estate situ-
ated within its corporate limits by gift or donation, to be used
as a Memorial Park.
