CHAPTER 377.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 1, 2, 3 and 4 of Article 71 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Ordi-
nary and Inn Keepers and Retailers."

CHAPTER 378.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 272B, 272E and 272F of Article
22 of the Code of Public Local Laws, of Maryland, title
"Washington County," sub-title "Justices of the Peace,"
as the said sections were enacted by Chapter 36 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of 1924, and to add three new
sections to said Article, to be known as sections 272B,
272E and 272F of said Article relating to delinquent de-
pendent and neglected children in Washington County and
the jurisdiction of the Magistrate of Juvenile Cases as
to such children.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That Sections 272B, 272E and 272F of Article 22
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Wash-
ington County, " sub-title "Justices of the Peace, " as said sec-
tions were amended by Chapter 36 of the Acts of 1924, be
and they are hereby repealed, and that three new sections be
and they are hereby added to said Article, said new sections to
be known as Sections 272B, 272E, and 272F and to read as
follows:

272B. For purposes of this Act the words "dependent
child, " "delinquent child" and "neglected child" shall be con-
strued as meaning any child under the age of 16 years as
hereinafter defined.

(a1) A delinquent child is one who violates any Criminal
Law of this State, or ordinances of any of the incorporated
towns of Washington County, or is incorrigible, habitually dis-
obedient, or beyond the control of his parents or other lawful
authorities, or is growing up in idleness or crime, or know-
ingly frequents any gambling places, pool parlors or saloon,
