CHAPTER 360.
AN ACT to repeal Sections 13, 32, 44, 179, 188, 198, 241;
244, 248, 251 and 348 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Health, " sub-titles "State
Board of Health, " "State Registrar of Vital Statistics, "
"Miscellaneous, " "Adulteration of Food and Drink, " "Com-
missioners of Pharmacy, " "Cerebro-Spinal Meningitis in
Horses—Commission, " "Tuberculosis, " and "Water, Ice and
Sewerage, " said sections relating to appropriations to the
State Board of Health or to Commissions for purposes re-
lating to health.
WHEREAS, since the adoption of the Budget Amendment,
sections of the Code providing for specific appropriations to the
several departments are useless and superfluous; therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 13, 32/44, 179, 188, 198, 241/244,
248, 251 and 348 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1924 Edition), title "Health, " sub-titles "State Board of
Health, " "State Registrar of Vital Statistics, " "Miscellane-
ous, " "Adulteration of Food and Drink, " "Commissioners of
Pharmacy, " "Cerebro-Spinal Meningitis in Horses—Commis-
sion, " "Tuberculosis, " and "Water, Ice and Sewerage, " be and
they are hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1929.

CHAPTER 361.
AN ACT to repeal Section 25 of Article 53 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Landlord and Ten-
ant, " sub-title "Distress for Rent. "
WHEREAS, Section 25 of Article 53 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1924 Edition), is a duplicate of Sections 94 and
95 of Article 21 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1924
