ing in the town of Rockville as the Board of Education may
see fit, but any or all of which items are not to cost more than
Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20, 000. 00).
8-A. Be it further provided, That not more than $10, 000 of
the funds provided hereby may be expended for the acquisition
of a site and construction of a school, or either, at Darnestown,
if the Montgomery County Board of Education decides such
expenditure justified.
9. For the construction of a two room grade school and the
acquisition of site therefor in Garret Park.
10. Transportation equipment not to exceed Ten Thousand
Dollars ($10, 000. 00).
11. Class room equipment not to exceed Fifteen Thousand
Dollars ($15, 000. 00).
12. For expenditures necessary for the requirements for
the new standard elementary schools not to exceed Five Thou-
sand Dollars ($5, 000. 00).
13. For the purchase by the Board of Education of school
site south of Wheaton, on the Brookeville Turnpike (Georgia
Avenue extended), to be so located as to divide the distance as
deemed advisable by the Board of Education between the Wood-
side grade school and Glenmont grade school, the cost of which
site is not to exceed Eight Thousand Dollars ($8, 000. 00).
14. For the purchase by the Board of Education of school
site as near Four Corners as practicable, in Wheaton District,
the cost of which site is not to exceed Eight Thousand Dollars
($8, 000. 00).
15. It is further authorized that not over Thirty-five Thou-
sand Dollars ($35, 000. 00) from the proceeds of the bond issue
authorized herein may be applied by the Board of Education
to the construction deficit which accrued under the construc-
tion program authorized by the last Montgomery County School
Construction Bond Issue.
16. For the construction or enlargement of Colored schools
at Poolesville, Rockville, Scottland, Burnt Mills, Spencerville,
Travilah, Norbeck, Stewardtown, Cloppers, Cabin John and
Ken Gar, and for the acquisition of any sites which the Board
of Education may deem necessary therefor, the total amount
to be expended for this item not to exceed Forty Thousand Dol-
lars ($40, 000. 00).
