964 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 501

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted. That the actual cash
proceeds of the sale of said bonds shall be used exclusively for
the following purposes, to wit:

(a) For the payment of the cost of the engraving or print-
ing of said bonds, and for the payment of the cost of the ad-
vertising authorized by this Act, and all other incidental ex-
penses connected with the issuance of said bonds.

(b) The remainder of the proceeds of the sale of said bonds
shall be paid over to the Board of Education of Montgomery
County and shall be used, expended and applied by said Board
for the following purposes, to wit:

1. For the construction of an eight-room senior high school,
and the acquisition of site therefor, to be known as the Bethesda
Chevy Chase High School, to be built on a site as near the
village of Leland as practicable.

2. For the construction of six class rooms, and the acquisi-
tion of site therefor, to be known as the Glen Echo Cabin John
School, which school is to be located as near the west end of the
Conduit Road bridge across Cabin John Run as practicable.

3. For the construction of a five room grade school and the
acquisition of site therefor, to be known as the Potomac School,
which school is to be located on the east side of Potomac on the
State road leading from the Potomac to the Conduit Road and
as near the town of Potomac as practical.

4. For the construction of four additional class rooms for
the Takoma grade school and for the payment of the grading
necessary for that site.

5. For the construction of two additional school rooms for
the Takoma Silver Spring High School, which construction is
also to furnish two additional rooms with grade entrance.

6. For the construction of a five room grade school on the
site now owned by the Board of Education immediately East
of the town of Silver Spring.

7. For the acquisition of additional land and general re-
pair of the Woodside grade school. The cost of this item is
not to exceed Eight Thousand Dollars ($8, 000. 00).

8. To strengthen the existing building and to add two addi-
tional class rooms, or either of such improvements, or for any
other purpose in connection with the present high school build-
