of the trout-line, rigged in any manner excepting live bait,
and what is commonly known as a dip-net in catching any
fish or fishes excepting the species or varieties of Bass men-
tioned in amended Section 81 above. Provided however that
this Act shall not apply to the waters of Garrett County.

CHAPTER 493.
A. N ACT to add six new sections to Article 16 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Montgomery Coun-
ty, " sub-title "Deeds of Trust, " to be designated as Sections
183, 184, 185, 186, 187 and 188, to prescribe the legal effect
of such instruments and to provide for the execution, ac-
knowledgement, recording and release of the same.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new sub-title, entitled "Deeds of Trust, " and
containing six new sections designated as Sections 183, 184,
185, 186, 187 and 188 be added to Article 16 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Montgomery County, "
said sub-title to follow immediately after Section 182 of said
Article, and to read as follows:
Section 183. That from and after the passage of this Act
any instrument conveying real estate in Montgomery County
whereby the same is conveyed to a trustee or trustees, to be
held by them in trust to secure a debt therein described and
commonly known as a deed of trust, shall be executed and may
be acknowledged and recorded in the same manner as an abso-
lute deed; and shall be valid as a security for any debt men-
tioned and described in said instrument. The Clerk of the
Circuit Court of Montgomery County shall be required to
record deeds of trust in the same manner as that in which
absolute deeds are now recorded, and provided further that in
order to assign or transfer title to any evidence of debt secured
by said deed of trust it shall not be necessary to record any
form of assignment or transfer.
