SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That the faith and assessable
property of the said Mayor and Councilmen of Frostburg is
hereby pledged to the payment of the principal and interest of
said Bonds, which Bonds, shall be exempt from State, County
and Municipal taxation, and that said Bonds may be registered
by the Clerk of the Mayor and Councilmen of Frostburg and shall
have printed on them a distinct reference to this Act author-
izing the same.

SEC. 3. Be it further enacted. That upon the sale of said
Bonds, the proceeds thereof shall be used by the Mayor and
Councilmen of Frostburg for the purpose of redeeming the out-
standing water Bonds of 1898 heretofore issued under the au-
thority of Chapter 69 of the Acts of 1898 of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland.

SEC. 4. Be it further enacted, That the Mayor and Council-
men of Frostburg is hereby authorized and empowered to levy
and collect a special tax not to exceed Ten ($. 10) Cents; on One
Hundred ($100. 00) Dollars on the assessable property of said
City to meet the interest on the said Bonds and to provide a
sinking fund for the redemption thereof at maturity, provided
that at any time the receipts from water rents and water revenue
shall prove insufficient therefor.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the first day of June, 1927.

CHAPTER 75.

AN ACT to ratify and confirm the action of the Commissioners
of the Town of Cambridge, in Dorchester County, State of
Maryland, in selling and conveying to William L. Dean of
Dorchester County, Maryland, a lot of real estate situated
within the corporate limits of said Town.

WHEREAS, by Section 4 of Chapter 170 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland, 1924, the Commissioners of Cam-
bridge, in Dorchester County, Maryland, were therein author-
ized and empowered to acquire and hold for corporate pur-
poses, by any legal means, land and property within the cor-
porate limits of said Town, for the location, place and site upon
which to erect a municipal building, but the said Act did not
