CHAPTER 483.

AN ACT to authorize the Board of Supervisors of Election of
Montgomery County to create an additional precinct in the
Seventh Election District of said County; and to create
an additional precinct in the Thirteenth Election District
of said County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Board of Supervisors of Election of
Montgomery County be and the same is hereby authorized to
change the boundaries of the existing three precincts of the
Seventh Election District of Montgomery County for the pur-
pose of creating a fourth precinct in said Seventh Election Dis-
trict; and is authorized to change the boundaries of the second
precinct of the Thirteenth Election District; to create an addi-
tional precinct to be known as precinct No. 5 of the Thirteenth
District from territory now entirely within the second pre-
cinct of the Thirteen District of said Montgomery County.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the Board of Su-
pervisors of Election of Montgomery County is hereby author-
ized to open and maintain such registration and election books
as may be necessary for the additional precinct in the Seventh
Election District, and for the additional precinct in the Thir-
teenth Election District, authorized by the provisions of this
Act. And it is further authorized, in the event that either or
both of said additional precincts are created, to prepare new
registration books and records for the precincts, the boundaries
of which may be changed or created under the authority of
the provisions of this Act; and the said Board of Supervisors
of Election of Montgomery County is hereby authorized to
make such transfers of records and to perform such duties and
exercise such powers as may be necessary for the creation of
said additional precincts and for the conduct of elections in the
precincts of the Seventh Election District and the Thirteenth
Election District, in the event that the boundaries of the pre-
cincts of either or both of said Election Districts are changed
under the provisions of this Act.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect June 1st, 1927.
