CHAPTER 439.

AN ACT to exempt for a period of two years all the prop-
erty, real and personal, of the Washington, Brandywine
and Point Look Out Railroad Company from county and
local taxation in Prince George's, St. Mary's and Charles
Counties.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That all the property, real and personal, of the
Washington, Brandywine and Point Look Out Railroad Com-
pany shall be exempt for a period of two years, from all
county and local taxation in Prince George's, St. Mary's and
Charles Counties.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted; That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1927.

CHAPTER 440.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 10 of the Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1888 Edition), title "Dorchester Coun-
ty, " to be under sub-title "Attachments—Exemption of
Wages, " to be known as Section 27-A and to follow imme^
diately after Section 27 of said Article, relating to exemption
of wages on attachment in Dorchester County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 10 of the Public Local Laws of Maryland (1888 Edi-
tion), title "Dorchester County, " to be under sub-title "Attach-
ments—Exemption of Wages, " to be known as Section 27-A,.
to follow immediately after Section 27 of said Article, and to
read as follows:

27-A. No attachment of the wages or hire of any laborer
or employe, in the hands of the employer, whether private
individuals or bodies corporate, shall affect any salary or wages
of the debtor which are not actually due at the date of the
attachment; and ninety per cent, of such wages or hire due to
