of Seven Hundred and Fifty Dollars, for the purpose of as-
sisting in keeping up the streets within the corporate limits,
and for the preservance of peace therein, and for any other pur-
poses necessary for the general welfare of the Municipal Cor-
poration of East New Market.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1927.

CHAPTER 415.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
330-B of Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Dorchester County, " sub-title "Hurlock, "
as the same was amended by Chapter 487 of the Acts of
1918, fixing the amount which the County Commissioners
of Dorchester County shall pay to the Town of Hurlock
for street maintenance.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 330-B of Article 10 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Dorchester County, "
sub-title "Hurlock, " as the same was amended by Chapter
487 of the Acts of 1918, be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted with amendments, to read as follows:
330-B. The County Commissioners of Dorchester County,
in each and every year after the passage of this Act, shall pay
to the Commissioners of Hurlock fifteen hundred dollars ($1, -
500. 00), to be used and applied by said Commissioners of Hur-
lock in repairing and maintenance of the streets of said Town
of Hurlock; provided, that all payments heretofore made by
the County Commissioners of Dorchester County to the Com-
missioners of Hurlock for the corporate purposes of said town
shall be and the same are hereby ratified and confirmed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted., That all Acts or parts
of Acts inconsistent with the provisions of this Act be and
they are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency,
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1927.
