after due advertisement of the proposals and the time and place
of the opening of said bids; provided, however, that the said
Board shall have the right to reject any or all bids.
SEC. 7. And be it further enacted. That the provisions of
this Act shall be construed as additional and supplementary to
and not in substitution for or in conflict with any of the pro-
visions of the general laws of this State relating to public
buildings.
SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That for the purpose of
paying the interest on said bonds, and for redeeming the said
bonds as they mature, the said Board of County Commissioners
of Montgomery County shall, for the year of issuance thereof,
and annually thereafter, until all of said bonds issued under
the authority of this Act shall mature and be redeemed, levy
a tax upon the assessable property of said County sufficient to
pay the annual interest on said bonds outstanding, and to re-
deem said bonds as they mature and become due, said taxes to
be collected as other taxes levied in said County are collected.
SEC. 9. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1927.

CHAPTER 386.
AN ACT to repeal Section 233 of Article 17 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince George's
County, " sub-title "Laurel, " as the same was repealed and
re-enacted by the Acts of Assembly of 1912, Chapter 695,
and re-enact the same with amendments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 233 of Article 17 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince George's County, "
sub-title "Laurel, " as the same was repealed and re-enacted by
the Acts of Assembly of 1912, Chapter 695, is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
Section 233. The said Mayor and City Council may open
and close streets, straighten and widen the same, and improve
