town officials, as the case may be, to immediately swear out a
warrant for said person, firm or corporation, and have him or
them taken before some Justice of the Peace of said County,
whose duty it shall be to try said person, firm or corporation,
who upon conviction shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor,
and shall be subject to a fine of not less than ten dollars ($10)
nor more than fifty dollars ($50), and shall stand committed
to the Prince George's County jail until said fine and costs
are paid, not to exceed an imprisonment of thirty days, the
said fine so imposed to be paid over to the County Commis-
sioners of Prince George's County.

This section shall not apply to necessary repairs of buildings
in said County where the value of said repairs does not exceed
the sum of five hundred dollars ($500).

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That, Chapter 563 of
the Acts of 1924 be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1927.

CHAPTER 384.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the Board of County Com-
missioners of Montgomery County to borrow upon the faith
and credit of the County, to an amount not to exceed Fifty
Thousand Dollars, and to issue and sell bonds therefor, the
proceeds thereof to be used for the erection, re-building,
equipment, enlargement, repair or re-modeling of a Jail
Building for Montgomery County, either on the present site
or a new site to be acquired, to provide for the acquisition
of such new site and the sale of the present site and building;
and to provide for the payment of interest on said bonds, and
of the principal thereof, by the levy of taxes.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Montgomery
County be and they are hereby authorized and empowered, to
construct on the present site thereof or on such land as may be
acquired for that purpose in the Town of Rockville in Mont-
