1927, and until their successors are appointed and qualified,
at such salary as the Governor may fix, the said salary to be
paid out of the Conservation Fund until such time as the Gov-
ernor shall provide for same in the Budget. Vacancies in said
Committee shall be filled by the Governor in the same manner
as the original appointments.
The Advisory Committee on Oysters shall advise and work
with the Conservation Commissioner in the buying of shells
and oysters for planting, shall supervise planting and shall sug-
gest and recommend places and bars, in the tributaries of the
Chesapeake Bay as well as in the Bay itself, where planting
is most needed. On request of said Committee, or any of them,
the Conservation Commissioner, shall have power to order
the local Boats of the State Fishery Force, with the Deputy
Commanders, to be placed at its or his disposal for use in its
work. Said Committee shall also suggest and recommend the
best time and season for planting, each member of said Com-
mittee determining the time and season to be recommended for
his own district. The Committee and each of them shall assist
the Conservation Commissioner in detecting and reporting vio-
lations of the oyster, fish and crab laws of this State, and gen-
erally in the work of bettering conditions in the oyster, fish
and crab industry.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1927.

CHAPTER 370.
AN ACT to repeal Section 81 of Article 33 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Elections, " sub-
title "Count of the Ballots, " said section applying to Anne
Arundel County only, and to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments Section 80 of said Article extending the provisions
of said Section 80 to Anne Arundel County, and thereby
making it statewide.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 81 of Article 33 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Elections, " sub-
