the direction of the Conservation Commissioner to the best
interests of the State.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That all laws or parts
of laws of the State of Maryland, general or local, inconsistent
with the provisions of this act be and the same are hereby re-
pealed, to the extent of such inconsistency.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from June 1st, 1927.

CHAPTER 369.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 72 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Oysters, " sub-title
"Oyster Culture, " to be known as Section 155-A and to fol-
low immediately after Section 155 of said Article, creating
an Advisory Committee on Oysters.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 72 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition),
title "Oysters, " subtitle "Oyster Culture, " to be known as
Section 155-A, to follow immediately after Section 155 of said
Article, and to read as follows:
155-A. There shall be a committee of three persons to be
known as the Advisory Committee on Oysters, who shall be men
of practical knowledge and experience, engaged in the oyster
business. One member of said Committee shall be a resident
of each of the three Districts into which the Tidewater Coun-
ties shall be divided, as hereinafter prescribed. Said Coun-
ties shall be divided into three zones to be known as Districts,
as follows: District No. 1, consisting of Kent, Queen Anne's
arid Talbot Counties; District No. 2, consisting of Dorchester,
Wicomico and Somerset Counties; District No. 3, consisting
of St. Mary's, Calvert, Anne Arundel and Charles Counties.
The members of the Advisory Committee shall be appointed
by the Governor and shall serve for four years from June 1,
