SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a section be added to Article 2 of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "Anne Arundel County, " sub-title
"Annapolis, " to follow immediately Section 28-A, to be desig-
nated Section 28-B and to read as 'follows:
Section 28-B. Nominations for a Mayor, Counselor and
two Aldermen from each Ward in the City of Annapolis shall
be made by direct vote of the respective political parties at
Primary Elections to be held in the City of Annapolis on the
3rd Monday of June in each year in which the Municipal Elec-
tions in the City of Annapolis are to be held, all provisions as
laid down in Article 33 of the Code of Public General Laws of
Maryland, title "Elections" shall apply to all Primary Elec-
tions held in the City of Annapolis.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the immedi-
ate preservation of the public health and safety, and being
passed by a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of all the
members elected to each of the two Houses of the General As-
sembly, the same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 366.
AN ACT to repeal Chapter 471 of the Acts of 1920, entitled
"An Act to fix the qualifications of voters at Municipal Elec-
tions in the City of Annapolis and to provide for the
Registration of said voters and to repeal Sections 2, 3, 4,
and 5, of the Charter of Annapolis, " and to enact in lieu
thereof 11 new sections to be known as Sections 2, 3, 4, 5,
5-A, 5-B, 5-C, 5-D, 5-E, 5-F, 5-G of the Charter of An-
napolis relating to Municipal Elections, and providing that
said Act be passed as an emergency measure.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Chapter 471 of the Acts of 1920, entitled "An
Act to fix the qualifications of voters at Municipal Elections in
the City of Annapolis and to provide for the Registration of
said voters and to repeal Sections 2, 3, 4, and 5, of the Charter
