SEC. 9. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from and after the first day of June, 1927.

CHAPTER 361.
AN ACT to revive the charter of The National Bitumens Cor-
poration and to enable it to continue business as a corpora-
tion under the laws of the State of Maryland upon payment
by it of all taxes due by it to the State of Maryland, and of
all penalties heretofore imposed upon it for its default in
that respect.
WHEREAS, The National Bitumens Corporation, a corpora-
tion organized and doing business under the laws of the State
of Maryland, did, through inadvertence, neglect to make pay-
ment of the franchise tax due by it to the State of Maryland,
and certain penalties imposed upon it for said neglect; and
WHEREAS, The Governor of Maryland did, under and by
authority of Chapter 366 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland, 1920, by proclamation bearing date the 13th day
of February, 1926, declare the charter of said corporation
null and void; therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the said proclamation of the Governor of Mary-
land insofar as it affected The National Bitumens Corporation,
be and it is hereby set aside, and that the charter of the said
The National Bitumens Corporation be and it is hereby revived,
together with all powers incident thereto upon the payment
by it to the Comptroller of all taxes due by it, with the interest
thereon and all penalties imposed upon it for its neglect in
that particular.

CHAPTER 362.
AN ACT to authorize and empower the Board of Public
Works to acquire by purchase or otherwise a site for a
laboratory and lecture room building for Pharmacy and
Dentistry of the University of Maryland.
