sioner District No. 1, and the candidate for nomination for
said office of County Commissioner in any party participating
in said Primary Election residing in Commissioner Dis-
trict No. 2, who has received the highest number of votes
cast at such Primary Election for candidates residing in
said District, shall be the nominee of said party in said
Commissioner District No. 2; the candidate for nomination
for said office of County Commissioner in any party par-
ticipating in said Primary Election residing in Commissioner
District No. 3 who has received the highest number of votes
cast at such Primary Election for candidates residing in
said District, shall be the nominee of said party in said
Commissioner District No. 3; the candidate for nomination
for said office of County Commissioner in any party par-
ticipating in said Primary Election residing in Commis-
sioner District No. 4 who has received the highest number
of votes cast at such Primary Election for candidates re-
siding in said District, shall be the nominee of said party
in said Commissioner District No. 4; the candidate for
nomination for said office of County Commissioner in any
party participating in said Primary Election District No. 5
who has received the highest number of votes cast at such
Primary Election for candidates residing in said District,
shall be the nominee of said party in said Commissioner
District No. 5; the candidate for nomination for said office
of County Commissioner in any party participating in said
Primary Election District No. 6 who has received the highest
number of votes cast at such Primary Election for candi-
dates residing in said District, shall be the nominee of said
party in said Commissioner District No. 6; and the candi-
date for nomination for said office of County Commissioner
in any party participating in said Primary Election residing
in Commissioner District No. 7 who has received the highest
number of votes cast at such Primary Election residing in
Commissioner District No. 7, shall be nominee of said party
in said Commissioner District No. 7. Candidates for said
office may be nominated other than at Primary Election in
the manner prescribed by the Code of Public General Laws
of Maryland, in which case the certificate of nomination shall
contain in addition to the other information required by
law, a statement that the applicant is a registered voter in
and a taxpayer and resident of the election district of which
he claims to be a registered voter, and any person whose
