CHAPTER 302.

AN ACT to authorize and direct the Treasurer of Charles
County to pay certain sums of money received by him from
dog licenses to the Treasurer of the County Board of Edu-
cation of said county to be used in building a public school
in or near the town of La Plata and for the use of the
Pomonkey Industrial School of said county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Treasurer of Charles County be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to pay to the Treasurer of the County
Board of Education of said county the sum of five thousand
($5, 000) dollars, being part of the money received by him from
the dog licenses issued in said county, the said five thousand
($5, 000) dollars to be used in constructing a public school build-
ing in or near the town of La Plata and to be paid out by the
said Treasurer of the County Board of Education only upon
vouchers or bills approved by the Building Committee, or a
majority thereof, created for the purpose of selecting a site and
erecting thereon said public school building.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the said Treasurer
of Charles County be and be is hereby authorized and directed
to pay over to the Treasurer of the County Board of Education
of said county one thousand ($1, 000) dollars, being part of the
money received by him from dog licenses issued in Charles
County, the said one thousand ($1, 000) dollars to be used by
the County Board of Education of said county for repairs or
improvements to or equipment of the Pomonkey Industrial
School of said county.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1927.

CHAPTER 303.

AN ACT to revive the charter of The Calvert Corporation and
to enable it to continue business as a corporation under the
laws of the State of Maryland upon payment by it of all
taxes due by it to the State of Maryland, and of all penal-
ties heretofore imposed upon it for its default in that respect.
