Commissioners of La Plata in some bank selected by them to the
credit and in the name of "The Town Commissioners of La
Plata, " and no money shall be withdrawn from said fund ex-
cept on checks signed by the President of the Town Commis-
sioners of La Plata, countersigned by the Town Clerk thereof,
and no money shall be withdrawn therefrom for any purpose
whatever unless the bill for the same be previously approved
by the Water Supply Commission provided for by this Act or
by a majority of the members of said Commission. And no part
of this fund shall be used for any other purpose than to pay
the cost and expense incident to and incurred in connection
with the construction of said water supply system, including
meters, cost of printing of the bonds to be issued under this Act,
and the general costs incident to the carrying out of the pro-
visions of this Act, or for the operation of said Water Supply
System.

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That the Water Supply
Commission created by this Act shall have the right and power
to acquire, in the name of the Town Commissioners of La Plata,
by gift, purchase, lease or condemnation any land, improve-
ments, rights of way, stream-beds, water-ways or any other
property, of any kind whatsoever, either in fee or as an ease-
ment, within Charles County, for the construction, extension
and maintenance of said water supply system of the town of La
Plata, and whenever resort shall be had to condemnation pro-
ceedings, the proceedings shall be as provided by Article 33A
of the Annotated Code of Maryland, regulating the procedure
for the acquisition of property for public use by condemnation,
and all the rights, powers and privileges conferred by said Ar-
ticle relating to the condemnation of property for public use
are hereby expressly conferred upon and vested in the said
Water Supply Commission.

SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That upon the comple-
tion of said Water Supply System, the said Water Supply Com-
mission shall turn over to the Town Commissioners of La Plata
the said Water Supply System, and any funds from the sale of
said water bonds remaining after the construction and equip-
ment of said system shall be used for the redemption of said
bonds as they mature and become payable. The said Town Com-
missioners shall have full charge of the operation, management
and maintenance of the said Water Supply System, including
the power to make contracts, to purchase material, employ all
such assistants (skilled or unskilled), and labor as may be nec-
essary for the proper operation of said Water Supply System,
to make such rules and regulations for the management of said
Water Supply System as they may deem proper; to make ex-
