be returned by the members of the police force to whom the
said equipment may be issued upon separation for any cause
from said force.

Section 7. And be it further enacted, That the County Com-
missioners are hereby authorized, directed and empowered to
maintain in the town of Rockville, Montgomery County, an
office for the chief of the Montgomery County Police and for
the storage of all records and equipment necessary for the con-
duct of said police, said office to be known as and designated
as "Headquarters of the Montgomery County Police, " and at
which Headquarters a member of the Montgomery County
Police force shall always be on duty, and to maintain sub-
stations, at which at least one member of the said force shall
be on duty at all times, in such building or buildings as the said
County Commissioners may designate, one of said sub-stations
to be located in or near the town of Bethesda, and on or near the
Georgetown-Rockville Turnpike or Wisconsin Avenue Extend-
ed, and one sub-station to be located in or near the town of
Silver Spring on or near the Brookeville Turnpike or Georgia
Avenue Extended, provided that a member of the Montgomery
County Police Force shall be stationed within the municipal
limits of the town of Kensington. The County Commissioners
are authorized, directed and empowered to spend such sums as
may be necessary for the maintenance and equipment of said
headquarters, and sub-stations.

Section 8. And be it further enacted, That all fees, costs
and charges in any and all criminal and civil cases allowed con-
stables under local or General Laws of this State and County,
paid over to any member of the County Police force, shall be
paid forthwith by said member to the County Commissioners
of Montgomery County, and the members of said police force
shall not receive by way of fees, costs, or otherwise any sum or
sums other than such as are authorized by this Act.

Section 9. And be it further enacted, That it shall be the
duty of the members of the police force so appointed to serve
and execute any and all writs, warrants, and subpoenas and
other papers issued by the Circuit Court, for Montgomery
County or the Justices of the Peace or the Police Justice or
Justices for Montgomery County, in the exercise of its or their
criminal jurisdiction; and no member of the said force shall
receive any additional compensation for such services, and the
