Stone Road and across the land of Virginia C. Graham to
Barren Creek, thence in a Southerly direction by and with said
Barren Creek to the Northeast corner of the lot of C. S. Gab-
ler, thence in a Southerly direction by and with the said Gabler
lot to the land of Mrs. M. E. Wilson, thence by and with the
line of the said Wilson land to the County Road, thence on a
continuation of the same line across the land of James T.
Hopkins to a private road about two hundred yards in the
rear of his house; thence in a Westerly direction in a straight
line to the old Venables Mill Race, thence in a Northerly
direction by and with the said Mill Race and Barren Creek
to the place of beginning.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the citizens of
Mardela Springs of the age of twenty-one years and upwards,
who shall possess the qualifications of legally registered voters
of the State of Maryland, and who shall have resided in said
Town for the space of six months next immediately preced-
ing any Town election, shall on the first Monday of August,
1927". or as soon thereafter as may be convenient, and annually

thereafter on the first Monday of August, elect three Commis-
sioners to serve for one year, and until their successors shall
be duly elected and qualified. Such Commissioners shall be
qualified voters and residents of the said Town, and they must
continue to reside therein during the term of their office, and
they must be the owners of real estate within said Town. The
said Commissioners shall serve without pay.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That Anglo S. Ven-
ables, William T. Wilson and George W. Bennett, be, and
they are hereby appointed Judges of Election, to hold the first
election under this Act. The said Judges shall give notice
that the election will be held and the place and time thereof
by hand-bills posted in not less than five public places in said
Town at least ten days before the date thereof. The said
election shall be held on the first Monday of August, 1927,
or as soon thereafter as may be convenient. At said election
all persons qualified, as prescribed in Section 3 of this Act,
shall be entitled to vote for three persons for Commissioners
having the necessary qualifications as therein prescribed. Such
Judges of Election shall, before opening the polls, make oath
before some Justice of the Peace in and for Wicomico County
to permit every qualified voter to vote, and none other, and
otherwise truly and faithfully to perform the duties of their
