of August in the year 1922, for a term of 2 years from the
clay of the appointment, and to provide rules and regula-
tions governing the duties of the said constables and pro-
vide for their compensation and expenses of equipment.
Said constables to be known as and designated as 'Mont-
gomery County Police. ' "
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Chapter 263 of the Acts of the General As-
sembly of Maryland of 1922 entitled "An Act authorizing,
empowering and directing the County Commissioners of Mont-
gomery County to appoint three additional constables for
Montgomery County at large on the first Tuesday of August
in the year 1922, for a term of 2 years from the date of the
appointment and to provide rules and regulations governing
the duties of said constables for their compensation and ex-
penses of equipment said constables to be known and desig-
nated as "Montgomery County Police, " be and the same is
hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect on the first day of July, A. D. 1927.

CHAPTER 262.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
245-A of Article 22 of Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Washington County, " sub-title "Jerusalem, " as
said section was enacted by Chapter 399 of the Acts of 1894,
changing the boundaries of said town.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 245-A of Article 22 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Washington County, "
sub-title "Jerusalem, " as said section was enacted by Chapter
399 of the Acts of 1894, be and the same is hereby repealed and
re-enacted with amendments so as to read as follows:
245-A. The corporate limits of the town of Funkstown,
formerly known as Jerusalem, are hereby declared as follows:
