48-A. Each Supervisor of Elections for Howard County
shall be paid a salary of two hundred dollars ($200) per year,
the said salary to be paid as provided in Section 2 of Article
33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland.
SEC. 2. And be ii further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1927.

CHAPTER 260.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 41
of Article 20 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Somerset County, " sub-title "County Commis-
sioners, " fixing the compensation to be paid the County
Commissioners of Somerset County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 41 of Article 20 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Maryland, title "Somerset County, " be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments to read
as follows:
41. There shall be three county commissioners for Som-
erset County, who shall hold office for four years, and until
their successors shall be elected and qualified. Each of said
commissioners shall receive six dollars per day for each day he
shall be engaged in the discharge of his duties, but not to ex-
ceed four hundred dollars ($400. 00) in any one year in addi-
tion to the mileage which may be allowed by law.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1927.

Assembly of Maryland of 1922 entitled "An Act author-
izing, empowering and directing the County Commissioners
