in said notice they will receive bids for the said bonds under
such regulations as may be made by the said Commissioners,
said time not to be less than ten days after the last publication
of said notice as hereinafter provided; said notice to be
published once a week for four successive weeks in two daily
newspapers published in the City of Baltimore, and once a
week for two successive weeks in one newspaper published in
said Prince George's County; and the said County Commis-
sioners shall award the said bonds to the highest responsible
bidder therefor, and if two or more responsible bidders make
the same bid and such bid is the highest, and the bonds so bid
for are in excess of the whole issue then such bonds shall be
awarded to such responsible bidders bidding the same price
in a ratable proportion; and the said County Commissioners
shall make all adjustments of interest between the date of
said bonds and the time of sale and delivery of, and payment
for said bonds; and in case there are no bids made for the
said bonds or the entire issue shall not be sold as above pro-
vided the said County Commissioners shall have the right to
sell the same or such portion as remains unsold at private
sale for cash.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted. That the said County
Commissioners shall cause their clerk to keep in a book pro-
vided for that purpose a full record of the bonds sold here-
under, the serial numbers of said bonds, the names of the
purchasers, the amounts realized therefrom and all redemp-
tions and maturities thereof.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That the actual cash
proceeds of sale from said bonds, after deducting therefrom
the cost of engraving, printing and selling the same and
further deducting and retaining one year's interest on said
bonds to be used in paying the first two semi-annual payments
of interest thereon, shall be turned over to the State Roads
Commission for the State of Maryland for the purpose here-
inafter set forth.

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That immediately upon
the receipt of the said proceeds of sale from said bonds the
said State Roads Commission shall cause proper surveys to
be made of the road known as the Edmonston Road beginning
at the point where the concrete surface of said Edmonston
Road now ends in East Riverdale and running to the inter-
