in whole or in part, until all of said promissory notes and
interest to accrue thereon have been fully paid, but no renewal
note shall be drawn so as to fall due after the first day of
June, 1937, and no renewal notes shall be given by said muni-
cipal corporation after the first day of June, 1937.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1927.

CHAPTER 144-
AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Commission-
ers of Frederick County to borrow money on the credit of said
County, to purchase or condemn real estate and pay for the erec-
tion, enlargement, repair or improvement of Public School
buildings in Frederick County, at Frederick City, Brunswick,
Libertytown, Urbanna, Thurmont, Wolfsville, New Market,
Point of Rocks, New Midway, Woodsboro, Mount Pleasant,
Yellow Springs, Buckeystown, Unionville, and Johnsonville in
said County, or for furnishing or refurnishing or equipping or
re-equipping the same, and to issue bonds therefor, and to levy
on the assessable property in Frederick County, such taxes as
may be necessary for the payment of the bonds hereby author-
ized to be issued and of the interest thereon as it becomes due.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Frederick County, in
order to provide the necessary funds to purchase or condemn
real estate and pay for the erection, enlargement, repair or im-
provement of Public School buildings in Frederick County, at
Frederick City, Brunswick, Libertytown, Urbana, Thurmont,
Wolfsville, New Market, Point of Rocks, New Midway, Woods-
boro, Mount Pleasant, Yellow Springs, Buckeystown, Unionville
and Johnsville in said County, or for furnishing or refurnishing
or equipping or re-equipping the same, are hereby authorized and
empowered to borrow money on the credit of the County to
the amount of; wo hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($250, -
000. 00) in all, that is to say, one hundred and twenty thousand
dollars ($120, 000. 00) in the year 1927 and one hundred and
thirty thousand dollars ($130, 000. 00) in the year 1928, and to
issue bonds therefor, under the corporate seal of said County
