visions of this Act, shall be entitled to vote at any and all City
Elections.

(b) It shall be the duty of the Mayor on or before the
first Monday in March of each and every year to appoint as
Registrars of voters in the said City two residents and qualified
voters of the City of Salisbury for each voting house provided
by the Mayor and Council of Salisbury. The Registrars so
appointed shall qualify within five days after their appoint-
ments, and shall, before entering upon the discharge of their
duties, make oath in due form of law before some Justice of
of Peace of Wicomico County that they, severally, will fairly
faithfully and honestly perform their duties as such Registrars.
And on the failure of any such Registrars to serve or qualify,
the Mayor shall appoint some other person duly qualified as
substitute, and said substitute, after having taken the oath
aforesaid, shall hold office for the unexpired term.

(e) It shall be the duty of the Mayor and Council of Salis-
bury to divide the said City of Salisbury into such precincts
as they may deem advisable from time to time, and to provide
in each of said precincts a suitable place or places for said
Registrars to perform their duties, and shall require all persons
living within said precinct to register and vote in the place or
places so provided.

(d) It shall be the duty of the Mayor and Council of Salis-
bury to furnish the Registrars with suitable books in which to
register voters according to the provisions of this Act.

(e) The Registrars shall give at least two weeks7 notice
in two or more papers published in the City of Salisbury, of the
time, as hereinafter specified, and place or places of the sitting
of the Registrars for the purpose of registration.

(f) There shall be a registration of the qualified voters of
Salisbury on the last Monday in March and on the first Monday
in April of each year, at which times the said Registrars shall
sit for the performance of their duties from 8 o'clock A. M. to
6 o'clock P. M. If necessary for the performance of their duties
or for the convenience of the citizens of Salisbury, the Mayor
may appoint another day or other days for such sitting of the
Registrars.

(g) The registration to be held on the last Monday in March
and on the first Monday in April of the year 1928, shall be a
general registration of the qualified voters of Salisbury, and no
person shall be allowed to vote at any municipal election held
thereafter unless he or she shall have been registered at such
time or at some succeeding registration day.
