CHAPTER 138.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
134, 135, 138, 141, 142, 144, 146, 147, 149, 151, 158C, 158E
and 158R, of Article 23 of the 'Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Wicomico County, " sub-title "Salisbury, " as-
said Sections 134, 138, 144, 151 and 158R were amended by
Chapter 620 of the Acts of 1914, as Sections 135 and 146 were
amended by Chapter 310 of the Acts of 1908, as Sections 141?
142 and 158C were amended by Chapter 265 of the Acts of
1916, as Section 147 was amended by Chapter1 27 of the Acts of
1922, as Section 149 was amended by Chapter 200 of the Acts
of 1924, and as Section 158E was amended by Chapter 636 of
the Acts of 1912, and to add a new Section to said Article
23 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Wi-
comico County, " sub-title "Salisbury, " to be known as "Sec-
tion 158 E 2, " and to follow immediately after Section 158 B 1,
of said Article, conferring additional powers on the Mayor
and Council of Salisbury.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 134, 135, 138, 141, 142, 144, 146, 147, 149,
151, 158C, 158B, and 158R, of Article 23 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Wicomico County, " sub-title
"Salisbury, " as said Sections 134, 138, 144, 151, and 158R
were amended by Chapter 620 of the Acts of 1914, as Sections
135 and 146 were amended by Chapter 310 of the Acts of 1908,
as Sections 141, 142, and 158G were amended by Chapter 265
of the Acts of 1916, as Section 147 was amended by Chapter
27 of the Acts of 1922, as (Section 149 was amended by Chapter
200 of the Acts of 1924, and as Section 158E was amended by
Chapter 636 of the Acts of 1912, be and they are hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted with amendments, and that a new
Section be added to said Article 23 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Wicomico County, " sub-title "Salis-
bury, " to be known as Section 158E 2, and to follow immedi-
ately after Section 158E 1, all of said 'Sections to read as follows:

134. (a) Every citizen of Salisbury who has resided
within the corporate limits of the said City for six con-
secutive months next preceding any City Election and who
was a qualified voter at the last preceding State or Congressional
Election, or who may reach the age of twenty-one years between
the first Tuesday after the first Monday of November and the
date of any City Election, as hereinafter provided, shall be a
duly qualified voter of the City, and every duly qualified voter
of the City who is duly registered in accordance with the pro-
