To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:

I, E. BROOKE LEE, SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE OF
MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Chapter
441 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1922,
Do HEREBY CERTIFY, That at the General election held in this
State on Tuesday, November 4th, 1924, an Act, known as
Chapter 75 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1924, was
submitted to the voters of Washington County for their adop-
tion or rejection, under the provisions of Article 16 of the
Constitution of the State, said Act being:

An Act to repeal sections 342-A to 342-E, both inclusive
of Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Washington County," sub-title "Roads," as
enacted by Chapter 617 of the Acts of 1912, and to
re-enact the same with amendments; also to add three
additional sections to Article 22 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Washington County,"
sub-title "Roads," to follow section 342-E, to be known
as sections 342-F, 342-G- and 342-H, and to repeal all
Acts or parts of Acts in so far as the same are incon-
sistent with the provisions of this Act.

AND I Do CERTIFY, That at said election 4,199 votes were
cast in favor of the adoption of said Chapter 75 of the Acts of
1924, and 7,816 votes were cast against the adoption of said
Act, in Washington County; and a majority being against the
adoption thereof, it was thereby rejected and repealed by the
voters. ,

IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto sub-
