scribed for at any meeting of the stockholders of the corpo-
ration issuing said stock.
SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That this Act shall be published
by the County Commissioners of Calvert County in the news-
papers printed in Calvert County for two months preceding
the next election for. members of the House of Delegates and
be subject to the approval of a majority of all the member &
elected to each of the General Assembly of Maryland at its next
session after the passage of this Act, and when and only in
the event that this Act shall be finally approved and legally
adopted in accordance with the provisions of Section 54 of
Article III of the Constitution of Maryland, then Chapter
720 of the Acts of 1912, Joint Resolution No. 5 of the 1914
session of the General Assembly and Joint Resolution No. 3 of
the 1916 General Assembly shall be and they are hereby re-
pealed and made of no force and effect.
SEC. 10. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1924.
AND WHEREAS, In compliance with said Section 54 of Arti-
cle 3 of the Constitution of Maryland, and in further com-
pliance with Section 9 of said Chapter 596 of the Acts of
1924, said Act of the General Assembly of Maryland, as em-
braced in said Chapter 596 of the Acts of 1924, was published
for two months in the newspapers published in said Calvert
County preceding the election of members of the House of
Delegates held on the 2nd day of November, 1926; therefore,.
Be it resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the said Act of the General Assembly of Maryland, as em-
braced in Chapter 596 of the Acts of 1924, and as above set
forth, be and the same is hereby approved and ratified.
