231, of the Land Records of Montgomery County, provided
however that the said Montgomery County Suburban District
shall exclude the following areas: (1) That portion of Wheaton
Precinct Number Three (Kensington) located between a line
600 feet west of and parallel to the western boundary of the
Brookeville Pike (Georgia Avenue extended) and the eastern
boundary of the right of way of the Metropolitan Branch of
the Baltimore and Ohio R. R.; (2) the general territory lying
north of the Town of Kensington and the taxing area of Chevy
Chase View in the Kensington Precinct of the Wheaton Dis-
trict, bounded as follows: beginning at the furtherest south-
west point on the boundary of the special taxing area of Chevy
Chase View lying on the side of Saul Road, along Saul Road
to where it merges with the old Bladensburg Road; thence in
a general southerly direction along the old Bladensburg Road
to Rock Creek; thence in a general northerly direction along
Rock Creek to the south side of the right of way of the Metro-
politan Branch of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad; thence
along the side of the right of way of the Baltimore & Ohio
Railroad nearest Chevy Chase View to the limits of the Town
of Kensington; thence along the boundary of the Town of
Kensington nearest to the Town of Garrett Park to the point
where the boundary of the Town of Kensington first touches
the boundary of the special taxing area of Chevy Chase View;
thence along the boundary of that special taxing area nearest
the Town of Garrett Park to the point of beginning on Saul
Road; (3) the area 400 feet in depth along the southern side
of the State Road from the Brookeville Pike (Georgia Avenue
extended) to a point on said road 600 feet from the present
electric railway terminal at Forest Glen; and (4) the terri-
tory within the limits of all municipalities and special taxing
areas in Montgomery County within the limits of the District
created hereby as such municipalities and special tax areas
existed on January 1, 1927, except the taxing area of Wood-
mont in the Bethesda District, which, provided the present
session of the General Assembly repeals the special taxing
area status, is hereby included in the Suburban District.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the County Com-
missioners of Montgomery County are hereby for all of the
purposes of this Act, designated as the administrative body
and district council for the said Montgomery County Suburban
District, and which Board of County Commissioners is hereby
given, for the purposes of this Act, all legislative powers with
which it can, in a constitutional manner, be vested by the Gen-
