30' W. 260 feet, N. 60° 31' W. 742.5 feet to the center line of
the State Road known as Light Street Road, thence with the
said Light (Street Road S. 16° 31' W. 280 feet more or less,
thence with the South Boundary line of Glen Burnie Heights,
N. 60° 03' W. 1861.63 feet to a stone; thence continuing with
the- boundary lines of Glen Burnie Heights, S. 0° 12' W. 567.02
feet, S. 88° 54' W. 1331 feet to the center of the County Road,
thence with the center line of the said County Road, it being

known as Hammonds Ferry Road, Northerly to a point where
the South-most fork of Sawmill Branch crosses the said road,
thence with the said Southmost fork of said Branch Northeast-
erly to the main stream of said Sawmill Branch, thence contin-
uing with the same Northeasterly to the center of the State Road
leading from Glen Burnie to Baltimore and known as Light

Street Road, thence with the said Light Street Road Southerly
to the center line of a County Road now in use known as the
Mountain Road, thence with the center line of the said Moun-
tain Road Southeasterly to the State Road leading to Anna-
polis, thence southeasterly with the said State Road to the
center of the bridge spanning Marley Greek at the point of be-
ginning, containing 3 1/3 square miles more or less, be and the
same is hereby designated and constituted, for the purpose here-
inafter set forth, to be the " Anne Arundel County Sanitary
District."

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That for the purpose of
carrying out the provisions of the Act, the said Sanitary Dis-
trict, and every new Sanitary District created hereafter, shall
be under the jurisdiction of a Commission of three educated
persons, who shall reside within a Sanitary District and be
resident taxpayers of Anne Arundel County, and qualified vot-

ers thereof. The term of each of the three members shall be
three years, and until their successors are appointed and have

qualified. The three members now constituting the Commission
shall hold office until the expiration of the terms for which they
were respectively appointed. As the term of each of the Com-
missioners now serving expires, his successor shall be appointed
by the Board of County Commissioners of Anne Arundel County.

The Commission shall elect one of its members as Chairman,
and shall appoint, discharge at pleasure and fix the compensa-
tion of a Secretary-Treasurer; a Chief Engineer, and such engi-
neering, legal, clerical and other personnel and help, as from
time to time the Commission may deem necessary to carry out
the provisions of this Act; and the County Road Engineer of
Anne Arundel County shall be eligible to serve as Chief Engi-
neer at a reasonable compensation. The annual salary of each
of said Commissioners shall be $300.00 payable monthly. The
Secretary-Treasurer appointed by the Commission shall be the
