1268 LAWS OF MARYLAND, [CH. 632

CHAPTER 631.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 4 of the Code of.
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1915 Edition), title "City:
of Baltimore, " sub-title "Licenses, " sub-heading "Moving
Picture Machine Operators, " to be known as Section 691eA
and to follow immediately after Section 691e of said Article
providing that persons may be licensed to operate moving
picture machines without compensation for state, charitable
or religious institutions, on passage of an examination but
without payment of any license fees.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article 4
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1915 Edition),
title "City of Baltimore, " sub-title "Licenses, " sub-heading
"Moving Picture Machine Operators, " to be known as Section
691eA, to follow immediately after Section 691e of said Ar-
ticle and to read as follows:

691eA. Any person desiring to operate moving picture ma-
chines, without compensation, for state, religious or charitable
institutions exclusively, may obtain a restricted license therefor
on passage of this usual examination, without payment of the
original or renewal license fees of $10. 00 and $5. 00, respectively.
Such license shall not entitle such operator to operate for com-
pensation or otherwise than as expressly herein specified.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1927.

Approved April 26, 1927.

CHAPTER 632.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 88-A of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "State Aid
and Charities, " said section to be known as Section 5-A and
to follow immediately after Section 5 of said Article, pro-
viding for the licensing and visiting of institutions, agencies
and societies entrusted with the care of minors.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
88A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title
"State Aid and Charities, " said new section to be known as
Section 5A, to follow immediately after Section 5 of said Ar-
ticle, and to read as follows:
