bered consecutively, and to be redeemed in the order in which
they are numbered.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Commissioners of
Better-ton are hereby authorized and empowered to do all
things necessary for the issue of such bonds, their offering
for sale under the most advantageous conditions, the provid-
ing by levy and taxation for a sinking fund for the purpose
of meeting the interest on said such bonds and their payment
upon maturity, and all other things that may be necessary
and proper in the procuring of the loan, and the issuance and
payment of said bonds.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That out of the sum of Twenty-
five Thousand ($25, 000. 00) Dollars, provided for the town of
Betterton by the provisions of this Act, the sum of Four Thou-
sand, Three Hundred ($4, 300. 00) Dollars, shall be used and
spent for the purpose of improving the streets of that part
of the town of Betterton known as Bayside, and admitted
within the Corporate limits of Betterton by the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Ses-
sion of 1927, and the sum of Twenty Thousand, Seven Hun-
dred ($20, 700. 00) Dollars, shall be used and spent for the
purpose of improving the streets of other sections of the town
of Betterton.
SEC. 4. And be it enacted. That Howard Turner, Arthur
Brice, Charles H. Brice, J. Leonard Price and James M.
Sutton are hereby nominated and appointed a special commis-
sion to act and co-operate with the Commissioners of Better-
ton in the use and expenditures of the fund received from said
bond issue for the purpose of providing for and improving:
the streets for Betterton. And the Commissioners of Bet-
terton are hereby authorized to fill any vacancy in said special
commission.
SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That at a special election to
be called by the Commissioners of Betterton at such time as
they may think proper, but not later than the next regular
election for Commissioners of Betterton, which said election
shall in all particulars not herein provided for, be held under
the supervision and direction of the Commissioners of Better-
ton, there shall be submitted to the qualified taxpaying voters
of Betterton the question whether the said money shall be
