shall be submitted to the legal voters of the Town of Rock
Hall who have a right to vote in said municipal elections in
said Town as to whether or not bonds shall be issued for
the purpose mentioned in this Act and at said election this
question shall be submitted on separate ballots prepared for
the purpose by the Mayor and Councilmen of Rock Hall, which
said ballots shall have the words, "For Rock Hall Water
Bonds," or "Against Rock Hall Water Bonds," printed there-
on and if a majority of the votes cast at said election upon
said question shall be "For Rock Hall Water Bonds," then,
and not before, the Mayor and Councilmen of Rock Hall shall
proceed to execute the powers vested in them by this Act but
if the majority of the votes east at said election upon said
question shall be "Against Rock Hall Water Bonds", then this
Act shall be of no effect.
SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public health and safety and being passed
upon a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of the mem-
bers elected to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly,
the same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 516.
AN ACT to add two new sections to Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (Revised Edition 1915),
title "City of Baltimore," the said two new and additional
sections to follow immediately after Section 886-F of said
Article and to be known as Sections 886-G and 886-H, re-
spectively, providing for the appointment of additional Pro-
bation Officers and an Assistant Stenographer and Typist
for the Magistrate for Juvenile Causes, and providing for
the payment of salaries, and to repeal and re-enact with
amendments Section 623-A of said Article 4, increasing the
salary of the Assistant Magistrate of Juvenile Causes.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That two new sections be and the same are hereby
added to Article 4 of the Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
"City of Baltimore," the said two new and additional sections
to follow immediately after Section 886-F of said Article 4
