CHAPTER 513.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 20 of the Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1888 Edition), title "Somerset
County," sub-title "Auditing of Accounts," to be known as
Section 31-A and to follow immediately after Section 31 of
said Article, providing for auditing of the accounts of
county officials of Somerset County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 20 of the Public Local Laws of Maryland (1888 Edi-
tion), title "Somerset County," to be under sub-title "Audit-
ing of Accounts," to be known as Section 31-A, to follow im-
mediately after Section 31 of said Article, and to read as
follows:

31-A. The County Commissioners of Somerset County
may employ a competent person to audit the accounts of any
county official having the custody of any public funds.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1927.

CHAPTER 514.

AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Commissioners of
Kent County, Maryland, to provide for the building of a
public school house in Rock Hall, and to issue bonds to pay
for the same, and to levy an annual sum to pay such bonds
and the interest thereon as they mature, and to appoint a
commission for the building and equipping of said public
school house.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Kent County, Mary-
land, are hereby authorized and directed to borrow on the
credit of said County, an amount not exceeding Fifteen Thou-
sand Dollars, and to issue coupon bonds therefor, not later
than July 1st, 1927, in sums of not less than One Hundred
Dollars nor more than One Thousand Dollars, to be signed
