arising from the sale of said bonds shall be kept as a separate
fund for the purposes of this Act.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted,, That the Clerk of said Mayor
and Council shall keep a full registry of said bonds with the
names of the purchasers and the amounts realized on the sales
and the date of the maturity of the several bonds, and, when
redeemed, the said bonds shall be cancelled on the face of said
bonds and on the books of registry and shall not again be is-
sued; and said bonds shall be exempt from all State, County
and municipal taxation.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted. That the money realized from
the sale of said bonds as aforesaid shall be expended and ap-
plied exclusively in the building and construction of a
concrete roadway, eighteen feet wide, on Maryland Ave-
nue, Chesapeake Avenue, North Fourth Street from Chesa-
peake Avenue to Main Street and on such other streets or parts
of streets in said town of Crisfield as the said Mayor and Coun-
cil may deem advisable and in doing such grading and curbing
on said streets as may be necessary and proper in connection
with the construction of the aforesaid concrete roadway; and
the said Mayor and Council are hereby authorized and empow-
ered, in their discretion, to employ and compensate from the
funds derived from the sale of said bonds a competent engineer
to plan, oversee and direct the said street improvement and like-
wise to do any and all other things and acts that may be neces-
sary for carrying out the provisions of this Act and to pay the
costs and expenses of the same from the proceeds of the sale of
said bonds.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted. That the Mayor and Council of
Crisfield shall levy annually on the taxable property of said
town of Crisfield an amount sufficient to pay the interest on said
bonds as it shall become due and to redeem the said bonds as
they mature and become payable and that said taxes hereby pro-
vided for shall be collected as other taxes are collected.

SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1927.
