tofore made are hereby, ratified and confirmed; and whenever
said County Treasurer acting under a formal order in writ-
ing of said County Commissioners has heretofore received and
receipted, for the taxes, interest, penalties and costs due upon
any piece or parcel of ground, heretofore sold to the County
Commissioners, for want of a satisfactory bid, the forfeiture
of said property shall therupon cease as fully as if said prop-
erty had not been so sold to the said County Commissioners.
Upon such redemption said County Treasurer for the time be-
ing, shall enter upon the proper books of his office and upon
the report of sale relating to such parcel of real estate re-
deemed, the date and fact of such redemption. Said County
Commissioners of Prince George's County are also authorized
to refund to any delinquent taxpayer or taxpayers the residue
of the proceeds of sale of his, her or their parcel of real estate
heretofore or hereafter forfeited, and sold by them as afore-
said, after deducting therefrom taxes, interest, penalties and
costs of sale due and accrued on account of. upon and against
such parcel at the time of the sale thereof by them. The
County Commissioners of Prince George's County are further
authorized to sell at public or private sale for such sum as
they may deem advisable any and all parcels of real estate
heretofore forfeited and offered for sale under the provision
of Sections 116G and 116H of this article and either not sold,
or sold for which the purchaser or purchasers thereof, if any,
have failed to pay the purchase money; and upon payment of
the whole purchase money for any such parcel resold as afore-
said to said County Treasurer for the time being, he shall ex-
ecute to the purchaser thereof under such resale a good deed
in fee simple thereof.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all acts and parts
of acts inconsistent with the provisions of this Act be and the
same are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

CHAPTER 383.

AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Cecil County
to sell all or a part of the Almshouse and Asylum farm and
properties.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Cecil County be and
they are hereby authorized and empowered to sell all or any
