SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1924.

CHAPTER 367.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 3 of
Chapter 425 of the Acts of 1884, entitled "An Act to incor-
porate the Maryland Title Insurance and Trust Company, "
the said Act having been amended by Chapter 663 of the
Acts of 1894 and by Chapter 118 of the Acts of 1900 (the
name of said corporation having been changed to Title Guar-
antee and Trust Company by the latter Act), relating to the
board of directors of said corporation.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 3 of Chapter 425 of the Acts of 1884, entitled
"An Act to incorporate the Maryland Title Insurance and Trust
Company, " be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments to read as follows:
3. The affairs of said corporation shall be managed by a
board of directors, constituting from eleven to such number of
members, not exceeding twenty-five, as may be determined upon
by said stockholders, a majority of whom shall be a quorum,
who shall be elected by the stockholders immediately after the
organization of said corporation, and on such day or time there-
after annually as may from time to time be provided by the by-
laws of the Company. The directors elected shall hold office
until their successors are elected, and shall be authorized to
elect a President and Vice-President from their own number,
and also a Secretary and Treasurer and such other officers as
they may deem necessary and proper to conduct the business of
the corporation.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1924.
