SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all Acts or parts of Acts,
general or local, inconsistent with the provisions of this Act,
be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such con-
flict with the provisions of this Act.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted. That this Act shall take effect

June 1, 1924.

CHAPTER 38.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments the two sec-
tions added to Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, title, "Washington County, " sub-title "Or-
phans' Court, " by Chapter 425 of the Acts of 1916, said
two sections as amended to be known as Sections 328A and
328B of said Article, and to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 328 of said Article, relating to the sessions of the Or-
phans' Court and the compensation of the Judges of said
Court.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the two sections added to Article 22 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title, "Washington County, "
sub-title, "Orphans' Court, " by Chapter 425 of the Acts of
1916, be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, and that they be known as Sections 328A and
328B, to follow immediately after Section 328 of said Article,
and to read as follows:

328A. The sessions of the Orphans' Court of Washington
County shall be held on Tuesday and Friday of each week,
from 10 o'clock A. M. until 3 o'clock P. M., and on such other
days as in the judgment of the Court the public business and
convenience requires: and the said Judges of the Orphans'
Court of Washington County shall each receive the sum of six
dollars ($6. 00) for each day's attendance upon the sessions of
said Court.

328B. The County Commissioners of said county shall
levy annually such sum as they may estimate will be sufficient
to pay the Judges of the Orphans' Court for the next ensuing
year; and it shall be the duty of the Register of Wills to cer-
tify monthly to the County Commissioners of the county the
