Force of Baltimore City upon the going into effect of Chap-
ter 82 of the Acts of 1918 (Annexation Act), shall be given
credit for the time served on the Police Force of said coun-
ties in determining seniority rating.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (Re-
vised Edition of 1915), title "City of Baltimore, " sub-title
"Police Commissioner, " said new section to be known as Sec-
tion 745½, to follow immediately after Section 745¼ of said
Article, and to read as follows:
745½. The time spent by any member of the Police Force
of Anne Arundel or Baltimore Counties who became a mem-
ber of the Police Force of Baltimore City when Chapter 82 of
the Acts of 1918 went into effect shall be construed as having
been spent on the Police Force of said City for the purpose of
determining seniority rating and securing additional compen-
sation.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1924.

of his life.

CHAPTER 148.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 745H
of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(Revised Edition of 1915), title "City of Baltimore, " sub-
title "Police Commissioner, " as said section was amended
by Chapter 507 of the Acts of 1922, providing that the
salaries of policewomen shall be the same as policemen.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 745H of Article 4 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (Revised Edition of 1915), title
