collected at the time this Act takes effect, but such assessment
or tax shall be and remain a lien and collectible as heretofore
provided by any law repealed by this Act.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from and after the first day of June, 1924.

AN ACT to repeal Section 71 of Article 10 of 4he Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title ''Dorchester County", sub-
title "Cambridge'' and sub-title "Paving Sidewalks and
Gutters, " as enacted by Chapter 339 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland. 1900, and to repeal Section 71
(A) of said Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title ''Dorchester County", sub-title "Cam-
bridge", as enacted by Chapter 395 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland, 1904, and to repeal Section 59A
of the said Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Dorchester County", sub-title "Cam-
bridge", as enacted by Chapter 233, of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland, 1910, and to re-enact Section
71 to be part of said Article 10, Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, title ''Dorchester County'', sub-title "Cam-
bridge, " and "Paving Sidewalks and Gutters, '' to be desig-
nated as Section 71.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 71 of Article 10 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Dorchester County", sub-title "Cam-
bridge" and "Paving Sidewalks and Gutters", as enacted by
Chapter 339 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland,
1900, and Section 71 (A) of said Article 10 of the Code of
Public, Local Laws of Maryland, title ''Dorchester County",
sub-title "Cambridge", as enacted by Chapter 395 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland, 1904, and Section 59A
of the said Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Dorchester County'', sub-title "Cambridge'',
as enacted by Chapter 233 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland, 1910. be and the same are hereby repealed, and
Section 71 of said Article, title and sub-title be re-enacted in
lien in the place of. the said Sections so repealed, so as to read
as follows:
