Said chauffeurs shall be included under the provisions of
Section 777 of this Article, so that they may enjoy the same
rights and privileges and benefits, subject to the same limita-
tions and conditions as are herein prescribed and enjoyed and
conferred for the retiring of the members of the police force
for the said City of Baltimore; provided, however, that any of
the persons herein mentioned who were in the service of the
Police Department prior to the year 1900, (who have not al-
ready done so), shall pay into the special fund a sum equiva-
lent to two per centum on the salary paid to them since the year
1900; and any who have been employed since the year 1900
who have not already done so) shall pay into the special fund
a sum equivalent to two per centum on the salary paid to them
since the date of their employment, and for the current year
and thereafter the regular per centage required under the spe-
cial Pension Act.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or parts of
Acts in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of
such conflict.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect January 1, 1925.

CHAPTER 112.
AN ACT to add an additional section to Article LXV of the An-
notated Code of Maryland (Bagby's Edition) title "Militia",
to be known and designated as Section 6a,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That an additional section to be known and designated as
Section 6a be and is hereby added to Article LXV of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (Bagby's Edition), title "Militia",
to read as follows:
SECTION 6a. The Governor shall have power, by Executive
Order, to organize, arm and equip a Naval Militia, and to pro-
vide for the administration and discipline thereof, conforming
as nearly as practicable to the Federal laws and regulations now
in effect, or hereafter enacted.
Provided, that all of the several sections of this Article that
are applicable to such Naval Militia shall have the same force
and effect as if the term Naval Militia had been specifically des-
ignated in any or all of such sections.
