their respective residence to the City of Cumberland. All
tales-jurymen summoned to attend said court shall receive like
compensation, except those summoned from the City of Cum-
berland, who shall only receive compensation in the event of
acceptance as jurymen.

SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the first day of June, 1924.

CHAPTER 90.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 125, 126 and 127 of Article 22 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Wash-
ington County, " sub-title "Fences, " the said sections relat-
ing to fences in Election District Number 11 of said county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 125, 126 and 127 of Article 22 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Washington Coun-
ty, " sub-title "Fences, " be and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1924.

Approved March 26, 1924.

CHAPTER 91.

AN ACT to repeal Chapter 143 of the Acts of Assembly of
1906 relating to compensation of the County Commissioners
of Allegany County and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 143 of the Acts of the Assembly of 1906
relating to the compensation of the County Commissioners
of Allegany County be and the same is hereby repealed and
re-enacted with amendments so as to read as follows:

The County Commissioners of Allegany County now in
office and those hereafter elected to said office shall meet at
least once in each week, and they shall receive as full compensa-
tion for all their services the sum of eight hundred dollars per
annum.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the first day of June, 1924.
