to make up from the registries of said Election Districts Nos.
11 and 32 and Precinct 2 of District No. 13, as said books
were originally made and inscribed, a registry of voters for
said new election district by striking from the said original
registries the names of all voters entitled to vote in said new
election district, and to inscribe the same on the new regis-
tration books of said new election district; and when the said
clerk shall have erased from the old books and inscribed in
the new books the names of the voters who are entitled to reg-
ister only in the said new election district in all cases of
erasure the said clerk shall draw a line in red ink through the
names thus erased or transferred, and under the heading "Re-
marks" on said old registries shall enter the words "Trans-
ferred by formation of new district, " and the said Supervisors
of Elections are hereby required to deliver said new registries
to the registers of voters to be appointed for said new district
at the same time that other registration books are required by
law to be delivered. For his services in transferring said
names from the old districts to said new district the said clerk
shall receive the sum of one hundred ($100. 00) dollars, to be
paid by the County Commissioners of Allegany County on
the certificate and order of the said Supervisors of Elections.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the said Supervisors of
Elections shall publish in two newspapers of general circula-
tion in Allegany County at least two weeks before the first
session of the registers of voters of Allegany County in the
year 1924 a list of all names erased from the old registries
and inscribed on the new. so that any person whose name has
been improperly erased from the old registries and inscribed
on the new may have ample opportunity to appear before the
registers of voters at their sessions and have the proper cor-
rections made.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the first day of June, 1924.
