314. Chiropody as defined by this sub-title is the surgical,
medical or mechanical treatment of all ailments of the human
foot, except the correction of deformities requiring the use of
the knife, amputation of the foot or toes or the use of an anes-
thetic other than local.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1924.

Approved April 9, 1924.

CHAPTER 590.

AN ACT to create and establish a new election district in Alle-
gany County, Maryland, to be known as Election District
No. 30 of said Allegany County, and to provide for the
proper registration of the legal and qualified voters therein.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That there shall be, and by the authority of this Act
there is hereby created and established a new election district
in Allegany County, to be known as Election District No. 30
of said Allegany County, and to be formed of parts of Elec-
tion Districts Nos. 11 and 32 and Precinct No. 2 of District
No. 13, and the polling place of said new election district shall
be in the village of Zihlman.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the new election district
so to be created and established shall be within the following
metes and bounds, that is to say:

Beginning in the center of the county bridge over Jennings
Run near Morantown Station on the county road leading from
Zihlman to Mount Savage and running thence

1. Northwesterly 1½ miles to the center of the north
portal of the Borden Tunnel of the Western Maryland Rail-
way Company; thence continuing said line

2. North westerly 1½ miles to Garrett County line, and

with it

3. Southwesterly 1 mile; thence

4. Southeasterly and parallel with the 2nd line as above
described 1. 4 miles to a stone in the center between the east
and west bound tracks of the Western Maryland Railway Com-
pany: thence
