from time to time the condition of same to the said Board of
Education with his recommendations as to the needs of said
property or the disposition of same, and in all matters and
things in relation thereto, it shall be the duty of said Super-
visor to improve and maintain the school property of the coun-
ty, so that it may be preserved and utilized for the purpose in-
tended, and not be permitted to deteriorate or decay for lack
of attention and care, and for this purpose the said Supervisor
shall recommend and make the repairs required within the
appropriations of the Board of Education made for that pur-
pose.

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That the Supervisor of
school property shall under the supervision of the County
Superintendent of schools, have supervision of all the janitors
of the school buildings and shall prescribe their duties in rela-
tion to same and may remove any janitor at any time for his
neglect or failure to properly attend to the duties assigned
him.

SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That the said Super-
visor of public school property shall examine and approve bills
for the construction or repair of school buildings and shall per-
form such other duties consistent with the general purpose of
this Act as may be assigned to him by the Board of Education
or the County Superintendent of Schools.

SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That the salary of said
Supervisor shall be fixed by the County Board of Education at
an amount not to exceed two thousand dollars ($2, 000. 00) per
annum, unless an additional amount shall have the written
approval of the Board of County Commissioners. Said salary
shall be payable monthly by the Board of Education for Prince
George's County and said Board of Education shall annually
include in the budget submitted by them to the County Com-
missioners a sufficient sum for said salary in addition to that
required by law for the maintenance of schools, and the Coun-
ty Commissioners shall include in their annual levy said sum
of money to be paid out of the amount of money levied for
school purposes. The said Supervisor of school property shall
be reimbursed for all actual necessary traveling and other ex-
penses and disbursements incurred or made by him in the per-
formance of his official duties, within the authorization made
by the County Board of Education for this purpose, and no
part of the traveling or personal expenses of the said Super-
