of March of each year, shall furnish the County Commissioners
a full and complete account, showing all money received by
him and the manner in which same has been expended by
him, and to whom paid and for what purpose, and the County
Commissioners shall publish the same as they are required to
publish the statement of the County expenses.
SEC. 9. And be it further enacted, That no public road
shall be opened or altered in Calvert County, except by and
with the approval of the said Road Supervisor, who is
hereby empowered and authorized to sit with the County Com-
missioners at the hearing of all applications for the opening
or altering of the public roads.
SEC. 10. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the imme-
diate preservation of the public safety, and being passed upon
a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of all of the mem-
bers elected to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly,
the same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 575.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections 236,
237, 237A. 238, 239, 240, 241 and 242 of Article 43 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, title "Health, " sub-title "Un-
dertakers, " regulating generally the business of undertaking
and embalming.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 236, 237, 237A, 238, 239, 240, 241 and
242 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code, title "Health, " sub-
title "Undertakers, " be and they are hereby repealed and re-
enacted with amendments, and that a new section be and it is
hereby added to said Article, said new section to be known as
Section 236A, to follow immediately after Section 236 and all
to read as follows:
236. It shall be the duty of any person, co-partnership or
corporation now carrying on the business of Undertaking in
the State of Maryland at the time of the passage of this Act
to make application for registration with the State Board
of Undertakers of Maryland. If such application shall
be made by a co-partnership, the same shall state the
